The glasses of red wine are called Bordeaux or Burgundy. They are large, balloon-shaped with a wide throat and inward curved edges. The bottom should be rounded to help aerate the wine; the upper part ends in a conical shape towards the inside, stopping the escape of aromas. The size of the glass should be long enough not to have to touch the chalice. This way we avoid heating the wine and staining the glass. Those are your Sitka wine glasses.
